AnticoDeluxe is a Window manager / Desktop environment. The goal is to create simple an fast WM/DE, with very aesthetic and familiar look and feel, very close to the MacOSX look and feel, which is ORIGINAL WORK FROM APPLE INC.

The project is in very early development stage.

Hi, generally speaking, Antico Deluxe starts in no more 2-3 sec. If it does not start in time, this is a problem of Xephyr and X cookies. You may use second script – ./myxephyr, or just quit the test.sh script and start it again

    Nice work, I like it!
Just tested under Arch, compiles fine, but depends on phonon. And it looks promising!

I have a rather gtk light self assembled DE, so I installed hydroxygen (with oxyblue folders) and oxygen for gtk, and of course the qgtkstyle to let kde apps look like gtk apps.

    hi,
The development has been freezed for some time due to lack of manpower :)
…And I’m not the same guy, who developed Antico Project at http://www.antico.netsons.org/development.html
Recently, I have started it again, and very soon will be a next version update – this time with keyboard switch applet on topbar.
Stay tuned… the project main page is http://code.google.com/p/anticodeluxe/ now. You can check svn after few days.
